Perancangan Aplikasi Career Center Berbasis Web Pada Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Informasi NIIT

Abstract

Sekolah Tinggi Teknologi Informasi NIIT is one of the best IT colleges in Jakarta. STTI-NIIT graduates have been spread throughout Indonesia with qualified skills to work in the IT environment. With their impressive skills, the graduates can compete with other colleges to develop careers. However, in disseminating information on job openings, internships, and others, they still use the manual method, namely sharing via WhatsApp. This career center application has features that can facilitate the process. The job vacancy data is centralized so that alumni can easily carry out the application process, and then the college can easily carry out the alumni data tracking process as well as view reports on the distribution of job acceptance. The research method used is to make observations on the parties concerned at STIR MITT, including design and implementation. The software used is Camp (consisting of Apache Server and MySQL) and Visual Studio Code, which is used as a script editor. The final result of the research is that if students and alumni can carry out an effective job application process, then the campus can easily search for alumni data.
